Connecting You with Nursing Jobs in Australia

Since its inception in 1981, O'Grady Peyton International has placed thousands of healthcare professionals in the U.S., U.K., Ireland and Australia. Our extensive experience has made us experts in placing nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding jobs at some of the world’s finest hospitals and healthcare facilities and making people feel at home as they move across cultures and time zones.

Nursing Job Requirements:

Positions are full time permanent for nurses with at least two years experience.  Employment terms are usually for two (2) years.  There is an opportunity to apply for permanent residency after commencing placement in Australia.  Australian nurse licensure registration and work visa applications need to be processed but our team will assist you with these.

English Language Requirements:

All internationally qualified nurses and midwives applying for assessment to Australia will be required to undertake an approved English language test. The two recognised tests are the International English Language Test (IELTS) and the Occupational English Test (OET).  Applicants who undertake the IELTS will be required to achieve a 7 in writing, speaking, reading and listening with an overall band score of 7 or greater. The results must be achieved in one test sitting.  Applicants who undertake the OET will be required to achieve a score of a B pass or higher in all four sections of the test (speaking, listening, reading and writing). The results must be achieved in one test sitting.
